This bill establishes a unified University of Hawaii Conference Center Revolving Fund to consolidate and streamline conference center financial operations across the University of Hawaii system. The new fund will allow the university to collect fees for conference center programs and create separate accounts for different campuses and operating units. University administrators can use these funds to cover conference-related expenses such as honoraria, room rentals, food, travel, audiovisual equipment, and other services, without being constrained by standard competitive bidding requirements.
