This bill amends Minnesota's medical assistance regulations regarding nonemergency medical transportation (NEMT) by increasing reimbursement rates for various transportation modes. The bill updates payment rates for different types of transportation services, including client reimbursement, volunteer transport, unassisted transport, assisted transport, lift-equipped/ramp transport, protected transport, and stretcher transport. Specifically, the bill introduces progressive rate increases effective upon federal approval and/or January 1, 2026, with most transportation modes seeing significant rate bumps.
