If a person with an existing air ambulance membership subsequently enrolls in Medicaid, they can request either a prorated refund or transfer the membership to another household member within 30 days of enrolling. The bill also mandates that all marketing materials and membership applications must include clear disclosures that the agreement is not insurance, that Medicaid enrollees are ineligible, and that some state laws prohibit Medicaid beneficiaries from participating in such programs.
