This bill directs the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to resubmit a Section 1115 demonstration waiver to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by January 1, 2026. This waiver is intended to allow the state to enforce community engagement and work requirements as a condition for eligibility in the Granite Advantage Health Care Program, which is the state's Medicaid program. Before submitting the waiver to CMS, the department must first get approval from the fiscal committee of the general court.
