Specifically, it aims to revise and incorporate the general and public statutes of Tennessee into the Tennessee Code Annotated, which is the official compilation of the state's laws. The bill indicates that if there are any conflicts between this act and other acts passed during the 2025 regular or extraordinary legislative session, those other acts will take precedence. The bill will take effect immediately upon becoming law, and its primary purpose is to organize and update the state's legal code. While the bill text does not show specific substantive changes to existing laws, it serves an important administrative function of maintaining and organizing Tennessee's statutory framework, ensuring that the state's legal code remains current, coherent, and accessible.
