This bill creates an exemption from the requirement to have a motor vehicle dealer license for selling or buying certain antique vehicles (at least 25 years old) or unique motor vehicles at auctions that meet specific criteria, including being held at a venue with at least 20,000 permanent seats in a county with a population between 147,700 and 147,800 according to the 2020 census, the auction operator holding no more than one such auction per year in the state, offering between 400 and 2,000 vehicles, and the operator having a minimum net worth of $25 million. This exemption is temporary and will expire on June 30, 2027, unless extended by the general assembly.
