AI Summary
This bill modifies the process for medical certification of death records in Michigan by updating definitions and procedures for reporting deaths, particularly those occurring outside of institutions or requiring investigation by a county medical examiner. It mandates the use of a web-based application system for submitting medical certifications and requires training for individuals completing them. The bill also clarifies reporting requirements for infants born alive after an attempted abortion who later die, ensuring their anonymity. Additionally, it outlines grounds for disciplinary action against licensed health professionals, including violations related to practice, personal conduct, and unethical business practices, with specific references to federal laws concerning physician referrals and designated health services.
