This bill appropriates $9,700,000 from the state bond proceeds fund to support the Karlstad airport runway relocation project, specifically funding Phase 3 of the airport development. The appropriation will cover engineering and construction expenses including runway and taxiway paving and lighting, a parking apron, utilities, an aviation fueling system, navigational aids, access drive and parking, and other facilities necessary to meet Department of Transportation Aeronautics airport licensure requirements. The bill builds upon previous funding for Phases 1 and 2 of the project, as established in earlier legislative sessions.
