This bill modifies existing Maine law regarding student transfers between school administrative units (essentially school districts) by establishing clearer guidelines for approving such transfers. Transfers will still be reviewed annually, and for state subsidy purposes, the transferred student will be considered a resident of the new school administrative unit.
