This bill appropriates $24 million to the Minnesota State High School League to provide grants for school districts to purchase, install, and operate public access Automated External Defibrillator (AED) smart monitored cabinets on school grounds. The funding will support the purchase of up to 2,000 AED units with five years of smart monitoring, maintenance, and accessories.
