This bill modifies Minnesota's laws regarding presidential electors, primarily withdrawing the state from the Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote (NPV). The bill changes how presidential electors are nominated and counted, requiring that each major political party nominate one elector from each congressional district and two at-large electors. Political party chairs must now specify whether each nominated elector is an at-large or district-specific candidate and provide the specific congressional district number for district-level nominees.
