This bill amends the existing cannabis law to add a non-voting representative from the Division of Service-Disabled Veterans' Business Development to the state cannabis advisory board. Currently, the board consists of thirteen voting appointed members, with several state agency representatives serving as non-voting ex-officio members. The board appointments are made by the governor (seven members), the temporary president of the senate (three members), and the speaker of the assembly (three members). Board members serve three-year terms and are not compensated for their service, but can be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred while performing their duties.
