This bill appropriates $5,400,000 from the state's bond proceeds account to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for improvements to Trunk Highway 210 between Aurdal Township and Nidaros Township in Otter Tail County. The funds can be used for environmental analysis, predesign, design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of safety and mobility improvements, with up to 17 percent of the funds allowed for project delivery. Before expending the funds, the transportation commissioner must submit a final layout and project report to the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners, which has 90 days to approve or disapprove the project. If the county board disapproves, the commissioner can modify the project or choose not to proceed. To fund this appropriation, the commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $5,400,000, following standard state bonding procedures.
