This bill requires athlete agents in North Carolina to undergo a criminal background check as part of their registration or renewal process. Specifically, all applicants must consent to a criminal history record check by providing their fingerprints to the Secretary of State, who will then submit them to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) for review.
