This concurrent resolution congratulates the 2025 Mount Mansfield Union High School (MMU) Cougars girls' Nordic ski team for their outstanding performance and Division I championship victory. The resolution highlights the team's exceptional performance at two racing events, where they dominated the competition by finishing first, second, and fourth in the 5k freestyle race at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, and then securing the top three individual racing positions at Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center, ultimately defeating their closest competitors, the St. Johnsbury Hilltoppers, with a score of 44-120. The resolution specifically recognizes the 16 talented student athletes by name, as well as their coaches Wylie Picotte, Al Sartwell, and Eden Shullenberger, and formally resolves to congratulate the team and direct the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to MMU as an official recognition of their achievement.
