Starting in December 2026, and annually thereafter, each county must provide a comprehensive list of child-care and dependent care facilities within its jurisdiction to the respective municipality. For each facility, the county must submit specific information including the facility's address, telephone number, floor plan, and emergency plan. This requirement aims to improve local record-keeping and emergency preparedness by ensuring that municipalities have up-to-date and detailed information about child-care and dependent care facilities within their boundaries. The bill will take effect 60 days after its enactment, giving counties time to establish the necessary reporting processes.
