The Secretary must determine whether the area is suitable and feasible to be designated as "Camden National Battlefield Park" and explore potential management strategies, including partnerships with federal, state, local, and nonprofit organizations. The study will examine methods for protecting and interpreting the site's historical resources, evaluate the viability of local management models, and identify potential federal development and operational costs. The Secretary is required to consult with various interested parties during the study and must submit a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources within three years of receiving funding for the study.
