This resolution approves proposed changes to the salary schedules for non-union, uniformed police officials of the Metropolitan Police Department for Fiscal Years 2024, 2025, and 2026, as submitted by the Mayor on September 16, 2025. The changes will become effective retroactively on October 8, 2023, for Fiscal Year 2024, retroactively on October 6, 2024, for Fiscal Year 2025, and on October 5, 2025, for Fiscal Year 2026. The salary schedule modifications will not apply to former police officials, except under specific provisions of the District of Columbia Government Comprehensive Merit Personnel Act. The resolution requires the Council to transmit a copy to the Executive Office of the Mayor and adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Chief Financial Officer.
