The district attorney general must submit a report within 24 hours to various officials, including the Attorney General and Reporter, legislative leaders, the district attorneys general conference, and the relevant U.S. Attorney, whenever they enter into a plea agreement, lower a charged offense, dismiss a case, or otherwise decide not to prosecute an offense stemming from these operations.
