This resolution recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of the Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) boys cross country team during the 2025 season. The team won the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) State Cross Country Tournament, marking their fourth consecutive state championship and fifteenth overall, which solidifies their status as one of the most successful high school cross country programs in Wisconsin history. The resolution highlights the team's remarkable accomplishments, including an undefeated season with victories at seven multi-team invitationals, the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet, and the WIAA sectional meet. The team's success extends beyond athletic performance, as they were also named Academic All-State and represent a large program of 70 high school and 40 junior high athletes.
