This bill authorizes the town of Pembroke to grant one additional liquor license to South Shore Market and Deli, located at 256 Church Street, allowing the sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption. The license will be subject to the same regulations as other liquor licenses under Massachusetts General Laws, with some specific conditions: the license cannot be transferred to another location, but can be granted to a new applicant at the same location if they provide good standing letters from the Department of Revenue and Department of Unemployment Assistance. If the license is terminated, not renewed, cancelled, or revoked, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then reissue it to a new applicant within 3 years.
