Additionally, the bill creates a provision allowing individuals to work as building code inspectors or in related roles for up to one year after a state of emergency is declared, provided they meet certain qualifications, such as having a contract with the state for these services, being qualified in another state with a mutual aid agreement, or holding a valid license in another state for at least five years.
