This bill requires employers to disclose the hourly rate or salary range on job listings for all full-time, part-time, temporary, or seasonal employees, referred to as "covered employees," provided the employer has at least one covered employee in the state. It removes a previous exemption that allowed employers with fewer than fifty employees to not disclose this information, meaning all employers will now be subject to this disclosure requirement. The bill does, however, maintain exceptions for positions that are internal transfers or promotions within a company, and for public employee positions where compensation is determined through collective bargaining.
