This bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-8-185, to create an exemption for utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) when they are being used for agricultural purposes. UTVs are typically restricted to operating on state highways and county roads with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour or less. However, this bill removes that speed limit restriction for UTVs engaged in agricultural work, while still requiring them to adhere to other existing restrictions outlined in the law.
