This bill extends the provisions of the Neighborhood Preservation Act to Tipton County, which is defined as a county with a population between 60,900 and 61,000 according to the 2020 federal census or a later one, and also allows Tipton County to participate in the Tennessee Local Land Bank Program, a program designed to help local governments manage and redevelop vacant or abandoned properties. Additionally, the bill permits a county with a population between 220,000 and 220,100, along with a municipality within it, to participate in the Tennessee Local Land Bank Program.
