Law 2- 142; D.C. Official Code § 1-523.01), and pursuant to section 4a of the District of Columbia Housing Authority Act of 1999, effective December 31, 2025 (D.C. Law 26-80; D.C. Official Code § 6-210.01), I am pleased to nominate the following individual: Ms. Ronnie Harris Cook Drive, SE Washington, DC 20032 (Ward 8) for appointment as an interim commissioner who has attained homeownership with the assistance of the Authority member District of Columbia Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, for a one- year term. Enclosed, you will find biographical information detailing the experience of the above-mentioned nominee, together with a proposed resolution to assist the Council during the confirmation process.
