Participation in this program is free for vehicle owners or lessees, who will receive a yellow dot decal to place on their vehicle and a folder to store personal and medical information, including their name, photograph, emergency contacts, medical conditions, allergies, current medications, preferred hospital, and physician contacts. This information is intended solely for use by authorized law enforcement, public safety, emergency medical services, and hospital personnel to aid in identification and treatment, with participating counties required to implement strict guidelines to protect the confidentiality of this sensitive data.
