Furthermore, businesses must maintain a pet incident file detailing injuries, illnesses, deaths, or escapes, and display their licenses publicly. The law also mandates a public information campaign to educate consumers about these provisions and a toll-free number for inquiries and complaints, with licenses and registrations being valid for two years and subject to renewal fees. Exceptions are made for registered students and individuals training under a licensed groomer.
