This bill directs the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to create a specialty license plate featuring the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust, with an additional annual use fee of $25 for this plate. After covering the initial costs of developing and distributing the plates, all collected fees will be sent to the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving and improving Florida's bonefish and tarpon fisheries. The Trust can use up to 10 percent of these funds for marketing the license plate, while the remaining funds will be invested to support conservation efforts through stewardship, research, education, and advocacy.
