This bill amends Section 10 of Chapter 183A of the General Laws to establish a clear process for removing elected trustees of condominium associations and homeowner associations. Specifically, it allows unit owners, who collectively hold more than 50 percent of the ownership interest present at a properly called meeting, to vote to remove a trustee before their term ends, regardless of whether there is a specific reason for removal. The same meeting can also be used to elect a replacement trustee.
