This bill modifies the composition of the Advisory Committee on Personnel Standards for the Massachusetts Trial Court, which is a group that advises on standards related to court personnel. Specifically, it removes an existing paragraph and replaces it with new language that outlines the committee's membership. The revised committee will include the chief justice of the trial court or their representative, the chief justices of each trial court department or their representatives, the court administrator or their representative who will chair the committee, the commissioner of probation, and nine appointed members: three clerks from the superior court, three from the district court, three from the probate court, and three clerk-magistrates from the juvenile court. These nine appointed members will be chosen by the chief justice of the trial court.
