This bill amends Chapter 140 of the General Laws to require certain restaurants to provide a diaper-changing area. Specifically, any establishment licensed as an innholder (a person or business that provides lodging and often meals) or common victualler (a person or business that sells food and drink) that advertises itself as family-friendly, such as by offering a children's menu or promoting itself as serving families, must make at least one designated diaper-changing area or facility available to all patrons. This aims to improve public health and convenience for families with young children dining out.
