This bill proposes to amend existing law by directing that at least twenty-five percent of funds deposited annually into the Renewable Energy Trust Fund be transferred to the department of agricultural resources. This money would then be used for a grant program specifically designed to help small farms, defined as those under 750 acres, develop their own renewable energy sources.
