This bill authorizes the town of Truro to impose a local room occupancy excise tax, which is a tax on temporary lodging, on seasonal rental properties and other short-term accommodations within the town, in addition to any existing taxes allowed by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 64G, section 3A.
