This bill authorizes the transfer of a specific parcel of land in Taunton, currently used as a parking lot on Court Street, from the state to the city of Taunton for $1, with the transfer to be formalized by a deed approved by the attorney general. The city of Taunton will be responsible for all costs associated with the land transfer, including appraisals and surveys, as well as any future maintenance or operational expenses. If the land is no longer used for parking, it will revert to the state's control, and any subsequent disposal will follow specific state laws outlined in sections 40E to 40J of chapter 7 of the General Laws.
