This bill, the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park Boundary Adjustment Act of 2015, modifies the official boundary of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in Georgia to officially include approximately eight acres of land known as Wallis House and Harriston Hill, which are historically significant sites from the Civil War. The Department of the Interior, led by the Secretary of the Interior, is authorized to acquire this land or any rights to it, but only from owners who are willing to sell or exchange their property, and the acquisition can be through donation or exchange. Any land or interests acquired will then be managed as part of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, following existing laws and regulations.
