This bill authorizes the commissioner of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), a state agency responsible for managing state-owned property, to transfer a roughly 5.2-acre parcel of land and any structures on it in Grafton to the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center, Inc. for a nominal fee, meaning a very small or symbolic price. This transfer is for the specific purpose of establishing and maintaining a museum and learning center for the state police. The bill overrides existing laws that govern how state property is sold or transferred, allowing for this specific conveyance.
