This bill establishes a new specialty license plate in Florida called the "Support the Constitution" plate, which will have an annual use fee of $25. The fees collected from these plates will be distributed to The Constitution Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, which can first use the funds to cover the initial costs of developing and issuing the plates. After those costs are recouped, the foundation can use up to 15% for administrative expenses and up to 10% for promotion and marketing of the plate, with the remaining funds dedicated to educational initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the U.S. Constitution in Florida's public schools, including training school leaders and providing free learning materials and pocket Constitutions to students.
