This bill directs the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to create a specialty license plate that says "I Stand With Israel," which will cost an additional $25 annually on top of regular registration fees. The proceeds from these plates will first go towards covering the costs of developing and establishing the plate itself. After those startup costs are met, the organization designated to receive the funds can use up to 10% for marketing and promotion of the plate and another 10% for administrative costs related to its programs. The remaining funds will be used to directly support a program that sends Florida university students, aged 18-26, of all religions, and their chaperones to Israel. This act is set to take effect on October 1, 2016.
