Similarly, an "apprenticeship program sponsor," which is any entity operating such a program on public projects, must also commit to having apprentices on job sites within 180 calendar days after the contract starts. This change aims to ensure the active participation of apprentices on public works projects within a specified timeframe after contract commencement.
