This bill allows the Department of Public Health to create a special sick leave bank for Marie Visco, an employee of that department, even if it goes against other existing laws. Employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who are related to Marie Visco, as well as any employee within the Department of Public Health, can voluntarily donate their unused sick, personal, or vacation days to this bank. These donated days can then be used by Marie Visco to cover absences due to illness or disability, as determined by the department, and cannot be used for other reasons. If Marie Visco leaves her job or decides to close the sick leave bank, any leftover days will be moved to a general extended illness leave bank.
