This bill proposes to exempt municipal light plants and municipal aggregators or cooperatives of governmental entities from public record requirements and open meeting requirements when necessary to protect trade secrets, confidential, competitively sensitive, or other proprietary information. This is intended to allow these entities to withhold certain information that could adversely affect their ability to conduct business in relation to other entities involved in the production and distribution of electricity.
