These analyses must assess the total energy implications and consumption of resources across various domains, including water, electricity, transportation, gas, waste, and materials. The bill also requires state agencies to use these analyses to establish sustainability benchmarks and report on their compliance with these provisions. Additionally, the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is tasked with establishing a methodology for agencies to use in assessing life-cycle energy consumption, and the Department of Energy Resources must include agency compliance records in its annual report.
