This bill amends the existing law regarding the Lake Quinsigamond Commission. The key provisions are: 1) The Commission is authorized to assist local and state agencies in coordinating water quality monitoring, pollution and vegetation control, recreation management, and other activities related to the lake and its watershed. 2) The Commission can solicit and receive funding from the cities of Worcester, Shrewsbury, and Grafton, as well as the state, to support the activities described in the first provision. 3) The Commission is granted the authority to establish and modify rules and regulations for the protection and policing of the lake, the use of motorboats and other watercraft, and the conduct of people using the lake.
