This bill authorizes the town of Westford to issue one additional all-alcoholic beverages license to be consumed on the premises, specifically for an establishment located at 0 Littleton Road. The license is subject to all the provisions of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, except for the limitation on the number of licenses under Section 17. The licensing authority cannot approve the transfer of the license to a different location, but it can grant the license to a new applicant at the same location if the applicant provides letters from the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance indicating that the license is in good standing and all applicable taxes, fees, and contributions have been paid. If the license is cancelled, revoked, or no longer in use, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then grant it to a new applicant at the same location under the same conditions.
