This bill revises the powers, duties, and functions of the Agency for State Technology in collaboration with the Department of Management Services. It authorizes the state data center within the Agency for State Technology to extend service-level agreements up to 6 months and removes the requirement for the agency to be notified of any termination of such agreements. The bill also exempts certain agencies from consolidating their data centers into the state data center and requires the Agency for State Technology to ensure that all information technology-related solicitations and contracts are procured and managed in accordance with the established information technology policy.
