This bill would require municipalities to either pave, repave, improve, or reimprove the roads and streets within qualified private communities that have been accepted for dedication to public use or meet municipal standards and specifications, or provide reimbursement to the private communities for these street paving costs. The bill also requires municipalities to provide other services, such as snow removal, street lighting, and waste collection, within qualified private communities in the same manner as on public roads. The Director of the Division of Local Government Services in the Department of Community Affairs is required to provide a cap base adjustment to the local budget to account for the costs associated with providing these services.
