The resolution urges the United States Congress to take concrete steps to address this crisis by increasing material and monetary support for refugees, both those displaced within Ukraine and those who have fled the country, as well as providing aid to neighboring countries that have accepted large numbers of refugees. Furthermore, it calls on the U.S. President and Congress to actively assist by raising the U.S. Refugee Admissions and Refugee Resettlement Ceilings, making a greater effort to resettle Ukrainian refugees in the United States, and allocating more funding to support these resettlement efforts.
