Relative to apprenticeship programs

This bill amends Massachusetts laws to require contractors and subcontractors working on certain construction projects to maintain or participate in an apprenticeship program registered with the state or the U.S. Department of Labor. Contractors and subcontractors must employ apprentices from these programs on the projects, and the apprenticeship programs must have graduated apprentices to journeyman status for at least 3 of the past 5 years, starting January 1, 2025.
