This bill appropriates a total of $74,577,313 to the legislative department for the 2025-26 state fiscal year. * The General Assembly receives $24,804,210, primarily from the General Fund, with an assumption of 173.4 Full-Time Equivalents (FTE). * The Office of the State Auditor is appropriated $13,961,277, with funding from the General Fund and reappropriated funds for audits, assuming 83.1 FTE. * The Joint Budget Committee receives $3,013,629 from the General Fund, assuming 20.3 FTE. * The Legislative Council is allocated $17,384,445, funded by the General Fund and reappropriated funds, with an assumption of 109.9 FTE. * The Committee on Legal Services is appropriated $10,798,740 from the General Fund, assuming 65.1 FTE. * $4,615,012 from the General Fund is designated for PERA Amortization Equalization Disbursement and PERA Supplemental Amortization Equalization Disbursement. * An additional $5,000 from the General Fund is appropriated to the Youth Advisory Council cash fund for the 2025-26 state fiscal year. * A provision from a previous bill (HB24-1347) allows for $150,000 from the General Fund, if unexpended by July 1, 2025, to be further appropriated to the Legislative Council for document remediation in the 2025-26 fiscal year.
